CONGRATULATIONS: To Year 6 pupils at Kings Furlong Junior School, who have undertaken lots of different community activities over the last four months as part of the ‘Junior Community Team’.
The children were recently presented with medals and a goodie bag by Helen, from Guide Dogs for the Blind. Martin and Paul, the Police Community Support Officers who helped run the programme, were there to lead the presentation too.
Thanks from the school to everyone who took part in the event.
“TRIPLE P”: Kings Furlong Junior School is also currently letting people know about “Triple P” which is an award-winning positive parenting programme.
The course runs for a total of five weeks, starting on Wednesday, February 27, from 9.15am to 11.15am at Chalk Ridge Primary School. Contact Kathy Gare on 07598 331764 if you would like more details.
