TWO people have been arrested at a north Hampshire traveller site after an investigation into dog-napping.
The warrant was carried out at 7.30am this morning at Paices Hill.
A 50-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, both from Aldermaston, were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and are currently in police custody.
Officers involved included those from Hampshire Constabulary’s force support unit and Tadley Safer Neighbourhoods Team. There was also support from Thames Valley Police.
It followed a theft of a Cocker Spaniel called Buttons from an address in Mottisfont, Romsey, on September 14 last year. The dog was reunited with her owner five days later.
