Man charged following crash on B3400 in Whitchurch
THE driver of this car was able to walk away unhurt after an accident on Christmas Eve.
Mark John Smith, 37, from Suffolk Road, Andover, is alleged to have failed a roadside breathalyser test after his Seat Ibiza collided with the verge, overturned and ended up on its roof at 9.30am on the B3400 at Wells-in-the-Field, Whitchurch.
He was charged with driving a motor vehicle with an alcohol level above the legal limit, and was released on bail, to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court, on January 29.
