TV presenter Keith Chegwin has been skating at Planet Ice in Basingstoke this morning, rehearsing for his next appearance on Dancing on Ice.
The 55-year-old was saved by judges on Sunday night’s ITV show, after finding himself in the bottom two with Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.
Keith was meant to have a day-off today, but instead got his skates back on to learn a few new moves with coaches at the Basingstoke ice rink. His professional skating partner, Olga Sharutenko is unwell, but Keith, from Ashmansworth, told The Gazette he wanted to put in extra hours of practice to get ahead.
Watch a video of him below, which includes a message to Basingstoke residents, and see this Thursday’s Gazette to read the full interview.
