TRAIN services from Basingstoke are still suffering disruption from this morning's sub-zero temperatures.
The weather, which included flurries of sleet and snow has forced South West Trains to change its timetable.
The company will be running fewer trains on all routes in and out of London Waterloo.
In a statement released at shortly before 1pm today, the company apologised for the delays and said it will offer full ticket refunds for passengers affected by the distruption.
At Basingstoke station, services are showing delays of up to 35 minutes, and a number of afternoon services have been cancelled.
Jake Kelly, customer service director for the South West Trains-Network Rail Alliance said: “Our services have been badly affected by freezing weather conditions this morning. We believe it's only right that we offer affected customers full compensation for the delays they have experienced today.
“The amended timetable we have put in place allows us to provide greater certainty for our customers about the services we are able to run and when. We would urge passengers to check for service updates before leaving for the station.”
