A FAMILY has asked for permission to construct an all-weather riding arena in Ashe.

Mrs De Groot has applied to the borough council to build the 50m by 25m enclosed arena at Ashe Court in Ashe Lane because her family wish to increase the amount of riding and competition work they undertake with their horses.

The application claims riding on narrow lanes in the area is too dangerous because of traffic.
