Rush hour smash closes road
A STRETCH of the A303 is closed after a two-car collision this afternoon.
Police have closed the busy north Hampshire road in both directions after two cars collided east of Micheldever at about 4.05pm.
The accident happened between the A303 at Bullington Cross and junction 8 of the M3.
There are also reports that a car stuck in the jam is on fire.
Emergency services are on the scene and say it may be sometime before the road reopens.
