JOHN and Anne Darwin were each jailed for more than six years this afternoon for carrying out a £250,000 scam faking his death in a canoeing accident and cashing in insurance policies.
Anne, 56, was convicted of 15 charges by a jury at Teesside Crown Court earlier today following a trial.
She was jailed for six years and six months.
