BASINGSTOKE Town will have access to state-of-the-art training facilities after agreeing a deal with five-a-side football company Powerleague.
In return for a large advertising board at the Camrose and a full-page advert in the match-day programme, Powerleague, which has a centre at Brighton Hill Community College, in Basingstoke, has agreed to provide the club with more than £15,000-worth of pitch time.
All of Town's teams will be able to take advantage of the deal, meaning that the club will no longer have to either hire facilities or use the pitch at the Camrose.
Basingstoke chairman Rafi Razzak said: "It is absolutely fantastic that we now have the chance to use the great facilities offered by Powerleague.
"Using the pitch at the Camrose for training is not ideal because of the damage it does to the grass, especially in the winter.
"We will no longer have to do this and the deal also means that more youth and ladies' games can be played at the ground."
Kevan Harding, Powerleague area manager for London and the South West, added: "It's a great opportunity for us to engage with a local club and we are hoping it will bring us more bookings.
"We are very pleased and wish Basingstoke Town every success for the coming season."
