Sir.-May I through your newspaper thank everyone in the town who helped me to recover from the various ailments that I have suffered from over the past two years, especially during the last two months, when I was treated for a heart attack.
At Basingstoke hospital, the doctors and nurses were marvellous, and the patients in my ward were equal in their friendliness. Both family and friends were also helpful.
As a freelance journalist, the worst part of the ailments was how it affected my hands and not being able to write or type.
