School is learning how to succeed

Sir.-I have just read the article in your paper dated June 25 “Head vows to turn school around”.

My daughter is currently in Year 10 in a different school as I pulled her out of Brighton Hill Community College more than two years ago as she was not reaching her full potential, and I was very dissatisfied with the school.

My son is currently in Year 8 at Brighton Hill and I would just like to say how much it has improved, I get fantastic communication and my son is progressing excellently, he is happy and feels comfortable.

I personally believe that by the time my son hits Year 10/11 Brighton Hill will once again be the best school in Basingstoke to send your children.
