Sir.-There have been a lot of comments for and against the Tesco development on the ex-Smith Industries site.
I am 100 per cent behind it, not because I think we need another supermarket in this area but because it’s only Tesco who seem to be in any way bothered about sorting out the problem which is the traffic flow at Brighton Hill roundabout.
It’s extremely difficult getting out from Western Way on to that roundabout mainly because traffic seems to be going faster than the 30mph limit.
I've taken to driving along Buckland Avenue and coming back by Homebase because it seems quicker than queueing down Western Way.
