Sir.–This summer is an exciting time for everyone in England as we prepare for the Olympics.
Billions of people around the world will be tuning in so we need to make England a sight for sore eyes – not an eyesore.
That’s why we’ve launched a new initiative called Show the World – part of our national Love Where You live campaign – to encourage the great British public to take pride in their local area and do a tidy up before the Olympic torch passes through.
It doesn’t matter if you tidy up for five minutes or 50, every piece of litter you pick up will help us to Show the World we care about the communities we live in.
