Sir.–I am writing on behalf of CLIC Sargent, the children’s cancer charity, to thank all those readers who have given up their time, dug deep in their pockets, and thrown all of their energies into supporting CLIC Sargent over the past year.
Last year, more than £69,548.38 was raised here in Hampshire for CLIC Sargent.
This money will help us to provide our community outreach nurses, social workers, grants, helpline, play specialist nurses, and free Home from Home and Holiday services – all for families from Hampshire.
With 2012 now here, I very much hope the work of CLIC Sargent will remain in your hearts and look forward to your much-needed support.
