Please remove roadside wreaths

Sir.–Are other people, like us, tired of seeing hundreds of dead and dying flower wreaths etc, tied to various poles etc?

I know it must be awful if people lose loved ones in road accidents, but surely the right place for flowers is the graves in cemeteries and crematoriums?

Some of the places these memorials are fastened are in dangerous places.

Perhaps they should be left a short time before they are removed, say two weeks. Some have been there years.
