Impact of houses just too much

Sir.–I wish to add my voice to the protest against the consideration of sites BAS102, BAS103 and BAS120 for housing development.

Those Loddon Valley sites are unsuitable for development. Parts of them are flood plain areas putting an unacceptable load on drainage in the area.

The whole nature of the area would change negatively with ingress of the buildings, roads and other infrastructure in a rural location. Also the impact of large numbers of people on the river, river banks and surrounding countryside.

The road system is already overstretched with the slightest problem (accident, broken down vehicle, faulty traffic light) causing huge tailbacks with long delays.
