Sir.–May I through The Gazette express my sincere thanks to all those who contributed to our successful nursing awards ceremony on July 14.
We had a wonderful evening celebrating nursing and midwifery and we are indebted to our patients and their families who take the time to share their experiences and nominate those that cared for them.
This is the fifth year of our Director of Nursing Awards voted for by public and patient representatives. We will launch next year’s awards in February 2011.
