Sir.– I would like to let your readers know that February 2010 is National Heart Month, and I am supporting the British Heart Foundation in asking the people of Hampshire to help fight the UK’s biggest killer by organising a red event this February.

It’s so easy to get involved with Red for Heart. You can join National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 26. or choose your own fundraising event – anything goes as long as it’s red. All you need to do is order your free fundraising kit at bhf.org.uk/red or call 0845 241 0976.

So please join me and be a part of Red for Heart – because together we can save the life you love.
