Sir.–I am writing on behalf of St Michael’s Hospice to thank everyone who donated to our collection in Sainsbury’s, Hatch Warren, on Friday and Saturday, October 12 and 13.
We raised the outstanding amount of £993.83. This will go towards the annual running costs of the hospice, which currently stand at £3.3million, of which £2.7m needs to be raised.
As a charity, our care is provided free and your donations ensure we can continue our vital services.
Grateful thanks, as always, to our wonderful volunteers, whose support allows us to continue to hold our regular collections. If you could help as a volunteer twice a year, call 01256 848853.
