MEMBERS of Basingstoke Amateur Operatic Society will perform Simply BAOS in The Haymarket on Sunday.
The event, part of the society's 90th anniversary celebrations includes a selection of fabulous songs from shows that BAOS have performed in the past.
Prepare to be entertained by past and present members of their company, including their youth group Limelight.
Tickets are available from The Anvil box office on 01256 844244 or online at anvilarts.org.uk.
BAOS's next production will be Mel Brooks' The Producers in March 2013. To get involved, find out more online at baos.org.
BAOS's youth arm, The Limelighters, will sing and dance across the generations for two performances of We'll Meet Again at Rooksdown Community Centre on Saturday, October 27.
They will perform a selection of favourites from the thirties and forties, including guaranteed audience pleasers from shows like Oklahoma, Annie Get Your Gun and South Pacific, plus a rousing sing-a-long of wartime songs.
Several of the founder members appeared in BAOS's production of Oliver earlier this year. They will also be onstage for the Mayor's Variety Concert at The Anvil on October 6.
Tickets for this concert are priced £6, which includes afternoon tea. They are available from Karen Baldwin on 01256 763127, 07952 553520 or by emailing karrie_baldwin@ yahoo.co.uk.
