CELEBRATING the 250th anniversary of the invention of circus, the Anvil is set to be transformed into an adrenaline-fuelled showcase.

After sell-out runs and tours in 2016 and 2017, Cirque Berserk! the UK’s biggest theatre-circus spectacular is coming to the Anvil for the very first time, performing from Thursday, 24 May until Saturday, 26 May.

Combining contemporary cirque-style artistry with adrenaline-fuelled stunt action, Zippos Cirque Berserk! is a danger-filled spectacle to amaze audiences of all ages.

Bringing this treasured form of live entertainment up-to-date in a jaw dropping spectacular created especially for theatre.

Witness the world’s most dangerous circus act with the legendary motorcycle Globe of Death – four motorcyclists reaching speeds of more than 60mph within the confines of a locked steel cage.

Also experience thrilling acts from more 30 jugglers, acrobats, aerialists, dancers, drummers and daredevil stuntmen.

If that doesn’t get your pulse racing physical comedians, the Mustache Brothers also join the troupe to provide some light relief for the evening.

The Gazette has teamed up with Cirque Berserk! to give away a family ticket (two adults and two children) for the performance of their choice as well as a backstage tour.

There is also a second family ticket being made available to one lucky runner-up.
