THE Lord Chamberlain's Men (TLCM) will return to local National Trust property The Vyne on Saturday, August 15 from 7pm.
This year, they will perform Twelfth Night on the north lawn so why not bring a picnic and enjoy this wonderful Tudor play in a Tudor setting?
TLCM is an all-male open air theatre company built upon the same principles that Shakespeare himself followed: to present bold, clear and dynamic productions that excite and engage the audience.
The unique mixture of location, climate and performance makes the relationship between the actors, the text and the audience a truly thrilling event.
The production of Shakespeare’s enigmatic comedy debuted this year in West End at Soho Green.
With its fill of jesters, shipwrecks, mistaken identities and cross-dressing Twelfth Night follows Viola as she tries to win the man she loves (while dressed as a man) and find her lost twin.
Gates of the Sherborne St John property open at 5.45pm and picnics are from 6pm.
Tickets cost £19 and booking is essential.
