BALLET Cymru present a sparkling and refreshing ballet based on one of the most well known and loved of all fairy tales in Basingstoke next month.

With a brand new music score and circus elements combined with the finest classical dance, the award-winning Ballet Cymru has teamed up with award-winning composer Jack White and Circus Company Citrus Arts to conjure a surprising world of wonder and magic.
Featuring choreography by Darius James and costumes by Welsh designer Steve Denton, this timeless story is brought to life using the company’s blend of classical technique and storytelling.
Ballet Cymru are a young group of dancers who bring small scale, high class classical ballet to audiences across the UK and beyond. Using powerful and timeless stories, the company challenges its dancers to interpret some of the finest characters in literature and to find new ways of creating exciting classical ballet.
