AWARD-winning playwright, novelist and translator Michael Frayn will discuss his new work at Theatre Royal Winchester next month.

He has brought pleasure to millions through his writings and he now comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on June 15 to discuss his new collection in conversation with writer and broadcaster John Miller.

Michael Frayn’s new work Matchbox Theatre consists of thirty dialogues and monologues that are to be “played in the smallest theatre in the world - the theatre of your imagination.”

His novels include The Tin Men, Headlong and Skios, whilst his plays include Donkeys’ Years, Noises Off, Copenhagen and Democracy. He has also written non-fiction including Stage Directions and My Father’s Fortune, and he has translated plays by Chekhov, Tolstoy, Trifonov and Anouilh.

The evening includes a free glass of wine or soft drink and is followed by a book signing.
