SCRATCH Built Productions in association with Proteus Theatre Company present a perfect festive treat for younger audiences this December.

They will bring Santa’s Grotto to life at Proteus Creation Space in Council Road.

Come and meet Father Christmas and his elves, who are very busy getting everything ready. There is a lot to be done before Christmas Eve, the elves are looking for some extra little helpers - and there is one very important list that has yet to be checked.

Far more thrilling than a traditional Christmas show, the Creation Space will be transformed into a festive walkthrough adventure for pre-school children and their families.

Children will meet the elves in Santa’s workshop to help them prepare for the most exciting day of the year – and maybe even see Father Christmas himself!

Following on from the popular BRRR! Christmas show last year, this enchanting show features music and magic, puppets and snow, dancing and lots of participation.

With soft play and sensory elements, Father Christmas’s Christmas List will take children on an unforgettable journey that’s full of festive warmth.

Father Christmas’s Christmas List is performed by a dynamic cast of four, including CBeebies actress Becky Kitter and Winchester pantomime favourite Julian Eardley.

Scratch Built are teaming up with Polka Theatre’s Roman Sefanski for puppetry direction and Trestle Theatre’s John Wright for clowning direction.

Both will also speak at national puppetry conference Got No Strings, which will take place at the Creation Space during show week to complement the production.

Father Christmas’s Christmas List runs from Thursday, December 18 – Wednesday 24, with up to three performances a day.

The 10am performances on December 18 and 19 are slightly shortened and specifically baby friendly.

The 2.30pm performance on Monday, December 22 will be a relaxed performance for those with additional needs.

Tickets are £6 each, and any children aged 12 months and under go free. They can be purchased online at wegottickets.com/proteustheatre or in person at the Creation Space.
