A NUMBER of local young performers from Stagecoach Basingstoke performed at Southsea’s Kings Theatre at the weekend.
A total of 213 students from nine Stagecoach schools throughout the UK came to take part in a gala evening.
Thirty students from the Basingstoke school had the audience clapping and cheering in their seats as they performed a lively and colourful rendition of Life featuring One Simple Idea by Hans Zimmer, followed by Heroes All Around by Bill Russell.
Stagecoach principal Helen Watts said: “The students worked so hard for the show and I was hugely proud to watch them performing at such a beautiful and prestigious venue."
