A TALENTED local husband and wife team are to bring their family show to The Haymarket

Marty MacDonald’s Farm is full of songs, fun & laughter, and is set in a vibrant, colourful and imaginative farmyard with loveable puppet characters.

Particularly suitable for children aged three to seven, it will run in The Haymarket on Friday, April 11 at 11.30am.

This fun show is the brainchild of Martin Parsons (Playdays Live, Sooty’s Magic Castle) and Kate Ashmead (Tweenies, Thomas & Friends Live!), whose company Honalee Media is based in Basingstoke.

Kate’s father Lynden Jones is a former Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane and she attended school locally.

Marty MacDonald’s Farm boasts a recorded vocal performance by children’s television superstar Justin Fletcher, who is a close personal friend of the couple and was best man at their wedding.

The show is directed by one of the top names in the field, Playschool Presenter and BBC Tweenies’ creator, Iain Lauchlan.

In addition to Justin as the voice of Pongo the Pig, it also features Nicole Davis, (Topsy & Tim and School of Silence) as the voice of Molly-Moo the Cow.

Please note that Justin and Nicole do not appear in person.

WE have two pairs of tickets to the show to give away to Gazette readers.
