Fatherhood 'amazing' for Frost

Nick Frost won't let fatherhood affect his film choices Nick Frost won't let fatherhood affect his film choices

Nick Frost has described fatherhood as "amazing".

However, the Hot Fuzz actor, who is dad to an 11-month-old son with wife Christina, revealed being a parent has changed his life.

"He's an amazing little cracker. It has changed me, absolutely, 100 per cent," he said.

Nick - who plays dwarf Nion in Snow White And The Huntsman - admitted fatherhood had its own challenges.

"No one had said to me, 'It's really tough', but it is every day - especially for a dad. There's a connection between mum and baby straight away nine times out of 10, but for the dad, it's like, 'What's my job? What's my role in this next nine-month period?'," he recalled.

"It's fairly unclear aside from support and logistics, but we're now getting to a point where he is giving so much back. We made each other laugh for the first time last month, but we recognised it at the same time. It was quite amazing."

The 40-year-old joked that he won't be switching to child-friendly movies now that he is a dad.

"I'm not going to let a child affect my career. I'm still going to be a lunatic on screen," he added.
