“IT'S been two years since our first appearance at Central Studio and we're really pleased to be coming back - especially me as a local lad.

“That first gig was a sell out with people being turned away at the door on the night - the atmosphere was electric!

“Since that gig we've continued to go from strength to strength, playing to appreciative audiences at some great venues. We are well known in the south east but our reputation has now spread and we get requests to play from much further afield.

“We were booked by a Bowie-mad couple from Leeds to play at their wedding and they said it made their day which was so rewarding for us. We did however have to gently talk them out of including Rock 'n' Roll Suicide in the set as we thought it might bring the mood down a bit!

“This year is of course a landmark year for David Bowie with him celebrating his 65th birthday in January. That's only served to regenerate interest in his music which is great for us.

“We have become a favourite at a venue in Bromley which is where David Bowie grew up after moving with his family from Brixton. The venue has a plaque over the door saying 'David Bowie drank here' and it's always packed to capacity whenever we play there.

“We are constantly working on bringing new material into the set. We've brought in a couple of numbers from the Aladdin Sane album - Watch That Man and Cracked Actor - and we're also currently working on Young Americans which we hope to have ready for the Central Studio gig.

“Being in this band is a real privilege - I get to sing some of the best songs ever written with the backing of four first class musicians. We perform to knowledgeable audiences who share the same passion for Bowie's music as we do - it's such great fun! Can there be a better way to spend a Saturday night?”
