LEGENDARY stars from the 1980s will be joining forces to bring one spectacular concert to Basingstoke.

With millions of albums sold worldwide between them, Go West, Nik Kershaw and Cutting Crew will be gracing the stage of the Anvil.

It has been over 30 years since Go West had their first hit single We Close Our Eyes, followed by Call Me, Goodbye Girl, Don’t Look Down, Faithful and Pretty Woman soundtrack-gracing King of Wishful Thinking.

Nik Kershaw first achieved chart success in 1984 with Wouldn’t It Be Good? before releasing Won’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me and The Riddle. A prolific writer for other artists, Nik also penned the number one single The One and Only for Chesney Hawkes.

Grammy-nominated Anglo-Canadian rock band Cutting Crew will always be remembered for their definitive song (I Just) Died In Your Arms, which helped shaped the musical sounds of the ‘80s club scene.

The trio of icons will be coming to Basingstoke on February 10, with tickets costing £36.50.

The Gazette has teamed up with event organisers Entertainers to give away two pairs of tickets for this one of a kind show.
