KILLER Queen, at The Anvil, on Thursday, 28 September, have been performing their tribute to Queen’s concerts for almost twenty five years. Their expert musicianship, extraordinary energy and accurate portrayal of arguably the world’s greatest live band have rightfully earned them the status of Queen tribute royalty.

Thrilling audiences across the world from the UK to Moscow, and in 2016 their first tour of the United States, Killer Queen expertly recreate the high energy, powerful phenomenon that was Queen live.

Killer Queen are fronted by Patrick Myers as Freddie Mercury, whose powerful tenor range and dynamic stage presence has captivated audiences the world over.

Appearing on the same evening in The Forge are Michael McDermott and Heather Horton.

The husband-and-wife team have been stirring up a storm in their native Chicago.

Michael has been described as ‘one of the greatest songwriters in the world’. Brilliant live, his latest album was described as ‘one of the best of the 21st century’ by Americana Roots UK.

Heather will be performing tracks from her new album, Don't Mess With Mrs Murphy.

The Good Lovelies, on the Thursday, 5 October, bring some first-rate folk from across the pond to Basingstoke. Winners of the 2010 Juno Award for Roots Album of the Year, as well as four Canadian Folk Music Awards, this female folk trio keeps going from strength to strength.

Since joining forces in 2006, the three talented singers have made impeccable harmonies, winsome songwriting and charming on-stage banter the key to their success. With their latest album Burn The Plan receiving rave reviews, this is great chance to catch them on their way up.

The Bootleg Shadows return to The Haymarket on Friday, 6 October, back by popular demand.

It’s hard to believe it’s over 50 years since Hank B Marvin, Bruce Welch, Jet Harris and Tony Meehan recorded Apache. This was the monster hit that launched the Shadows’ instrumental career and founded a nation of bespectacled guitarists dreaming of acquiring their very own Fender Stratocaster

For anyone who loves the sounds of the sixties, and enjoys a few laughs on the way, The Bootleg Shadows perform a tribute that has audiences humming the tunes and doing the Shadows famous 'walk' long after they have left the theatre.
