The programme will air in spring 2016
THE BBC would like to hear from Basingstoke residents who have music memories and memorabilia they’d like to share about music cultures from the fifties to the noughties.
They’re asking anyone interested to upload their pictures or recordings or words to phop.co.uk.
The information will be used for the forthcoming four-part programme the People’s History of Pop, which will air on BBC4 in spring 2016.
