POPULAR local music festival Stokiefest is to return in 2015.
Some of the finest local talent will come together during the August Bank Holiday for 12 hours of live music all in aid of charity.
The event has moved locations this year and will be held at Basingstoke Rugby Club on Sunday, August 30 from 11am.
Stokiefest 2015 will support the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. The Trust supports over 25% of the 6,000 families in England who have a child aged 0-18 years of age with a life threatening or terminal illness and need bespoke support.
Organiser Robert Gregson said: “The last two years have been a huge success and we are sure that Stokiefest 2015 will be the same. Every year we tweak the formula to keep the event fresh.
“We have a fantastic line-up featuring some of the best local musicians to lend your ears to and we have moved to a new venue which is part of our plan to grow Stokiefest.
“We are very pleased to be supporting such a worthy charity.”
Advance tickets are priced £6.50 or £8 for adults on the door. Admission costs £2 for under 16s. Under 5s are admitted for free.
