The Creative Stage is back, brought to you by Drum Runners and Basingstoke Voluntary Action who have put together a creative mix of dancing, DJs and drummers. It’s somewhere for people from all corners of the festival to get together.
Come and learn to do something new or try your hand at performance in our showcase slots - no previous skills or experience are necessary.
Across the weekend there will be performances and workshops in DJ’ing, drumming and circus skills.
There will no doubt be some performances from these as well and who knows what might come together and end up being performed on stage or in a parade across the festival site?
Get involved to work together: if you are a budding or seasoned performer, why not sign up to mash up your tune or song with the addition of DJ scratching, percussion and dance?
Or simply dance or drum to inspire new ideas. You never know what new direction it will go in, but without any doubt it will be at the Creative Stage.

Busk-IT
Basingstoke Live has always aimed to give local artists a chance to perform and this year even more people can perform at the festival. The Busk-IT mini stages are back again this year and are the smallest yet most big-hearted stages at the festival.
Musicians/artists can apply via the Basingstoke Live website for a chance to perform live on the site in the mini pop-up stages.
Drum Runners invite the festival community in Basingstoke and beyond to join in, take part and get creative with new ways of enjoying and supporting Basingstoke’s very own festival, which has always delivered an exciting combination of artists and public participation.
Drum Runners are again proud to be part of a place that has a vibrant creative community, which has come together to shape the identity of Basingstoke Live through the people and all the live events throughout the year which build up to such a great weekend.
