IF you like your music with a chilled, fun vibe, then The Unplgd! Stage is the place to be!
2015’s weekender of the best in acoustic music will showcase a selection of Basingstoke’s amazing, homegrown talent at its best.
This year is packed full of stripped-back bands, acoustic artists and vocalists, providing a diverse line-up ranging from mellow blues to raucous metal – there’s something for everyone’s taste.
Included in the mix are a couple of out of town acts: Sam Brett is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter from Reading; London artist Dreadzy plays a fusion of hip-rock; Bear and The Woods (solo) features Reading-based ‘folk & roll’ frontman Bear Jones.
Aiming for all ages are the under-18 artists, Isaac Barrett, Molly Minall and Tyrell Payne.

An addition to the Sunday is Acoustic Soup, which will introduce five new, local artists and The Open Mic will round off the whole weekend.
Saturday’s headliners are local classic metal band Karrion. Pump your fist in the air to stripped back metal. Sunday’s headliner is the extremely talented Musicby Mai - think Bjork meets Massive Attack.
New promoter for The Unplgd! Stage is Shani Saunders from That Vibe Promotions.
This is her first year running a stage at Basingstoke Live and she’s assisted by her stage manager Karen Hutchins.
Shani says: “Come and support the whole event and have a blast!”
