HATS Off to Led Zeppelin are to return to Basingstoke for a fundraising concert.

The tribute band will perform in The Haymarket on June 20 for a concert in support of local charities Hope From Jayden and Naomi House.

Half a decade ago, Hats Off to Led Zeppelin created a buzz unheard of for a tribute act and in the last two years alone they have produced a DVD, won the best tribute act award and released their first digital tracks worldwide.

Having played with Queen, Ray Davies, Edwin Starr, Iron Maiden, Gerry & the Pacemakers, PJ Proby & the Seahorses as well as appearing in a plethora of West End Shows including We Will Rock You, Thriller Live!, Dancing in the Streets, Return to the Forbidden Planet and Buddy, to name but a few, the group are a truly professional outfit who are guaranteed to give you a night that you won't forget in a hurry.

They are the only UK tribute endorsed by Marshall Amplifiers, and they are managed by Warren Grant, the son of the original Led Zep manager, Peter.

Jack Tanner said: “The last time we played The Haymarket, we managed to raise over £200 for Naomi House. We are determined to beat that this time.”

The concert begins at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from the box office on 01256 844244 or online at anvilarts.org.uk.
