PIONEERING American singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega returns to the UK this summer, marking 30 years since the release of her eponymous critically acclaimed debut album.
She’ll call in at The Anvil on Sunday, June 21, at 7.30pm and tickets go on sale today, Friday, January 30 at 10am.
Widely regarded as one of the most brilliant songwriters of her generation, Suzanne Vega emerged as a leading figure out of the folk music revival of the early 1980s.
Her profound insight on the human experience has earned her followers of all ages and walks of life over a 30 year career yielding critical acclaim and hit songs like Luka, Tom’s Diner and Marlene On The Wall among many others.
Her music has also inspired a generation of female singer-songwriters such as KT Tunstall, Tracey Chapman and Alanis Morrisette.
