HOLLYWOOD comes to Hook on Saturday, October 25 when Basingstoke Silver Band presents the long awaited concert sequel Saturday Night At The Movies 2.
With music mostly chosen by the audience from last year’s concert, it promises to be a blockbuster evening.
The programme will include music from films old and new for everyone to enjoy. Feel the excitement of Thunderbirds and then just sit back and take in the beautiful “I’ll walk with God”.
Try to resist joining in with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, or keeping your feet from tapping to the music of Grease.
Children will enjoy the magic of Harry Potter, and music from smash hits Despicable Me 2 and Disney‘s Frozen.
The band will be joined by the choir of St. Mary’s Junior School, Old Basing for the concert, which takes place at the Elizabeth Hall, Raven Road (curtain up at 7:30pm).
Tickets priced £8 for adults, £6 for over 60 and under 16, are available from Trees Newsagents in Hook, by calling 07880 728721, by calling bsbsec@hotmail.co.uk or can be purchased on the door.
