THE world’s leading brass ensemble Mnozil Brass makes a very welcome return to The Anvil on Saturday, October 11.

This septet is from Vienna and is probably the strangest brass ensemble ever. With their musical virtuosity mixed with their unique kind of comedy the only way to describe Mnozil Brass is possibly to label them as the ‘Monty Python of the music world’.

The first official outing for Mnozil Brass was on the 23rd January 1993 in Vienna, before a small circle of friends. At the time there were no plans for the band to achieve cult status and nobody sensed that they would be soon be travelling throughout the world.

The Band says: “We play applied brass music for people from all walks of life.

"We face every challenge, no note is too high for us, no lip is too hot and no music is too inferior. You can see our music and you can smell the stage performance."

With 120 performances a year worldwide, from the UK to Japan, they are currently one of the most famous music ensembles in the world with some of their Youtube videos attracting over 1 million viewers.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience Mnozil Brass live – as anyone who enjoyed their sell-out show at The Anvil last year will tell you they really have to be seen and heard to be believed!
