LOCAL musician Darren Rampton has released a debut EP, titled Just In Time
Recorded and produced this summer at Basingstoke's Central Studio, the five-track album is best described as pop with an eclectic mix of funk, rock and country.
Darren cites his influences Paul Carrack, Toto, Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran and Bruce Hornsby.
His plans for the EP include airtime on local radio, live shows and a video for one of the lead tracks in the near future.
Darren, who is from Whitchurch and now lives in Basingstoke, celebrated the release of the EP with a live acoustic gig at The Tea Bar.
More information is available from his Facebook page, on Twitter and on Soundcloud.
Just in Time is available now from iTunes.
