STOKIE Fest, which ran successfully in 2013, is to return to Basingstoke in 2014.

The all day event will take over The Camrose, Western Way, on Sunday May 4 – during the bank holiday weekend - with a fantastic 12 hour line-up of music between 11am and 11pm.

The headline act are Hats Off to Led Zeppelin. You will feel like you’ve traveled back in time when you experience these four top class musicians recreating Led Zeppelin’s magical concerts.

Featuring Peter Eldridge from the West End production of We Will Rock You and Jack Tanner and Kevin Oliver Jones from the world tours of Thriller Live and Dancing in the Streets, theirs is a truly sensational live show.

There will also be family fun, outside food and drink stalls, kids’ entertainment and prizes to be won throughout the day.

Robert Gregson, the organiser of the event, said: "Stokie Fest, in conjunction with KHMP, began in May 2013 and started what we hope is the beginning of something special not only for 'Rolling Thunder but for up-and-coming acts across the UK.

“We aim to tweak the formula to make every year bigger and bolder, and we have quite a plan for the next few years."

Admission for the musical entertainment costs £10 for adults, £5 for 11-16 year olds and under-11s are admitted free of charge.

Rob added: “We urge you to come and enjoy the whole shebang, but you are required to buy your ticket before 9pm. There is no admittance after 9pm without a ticket. This is due to the capacity of the clubhouse and our commitment to allowing everyone to experience the music in comfort.”
