ONE Hundred Percent Music presents Saturday night live music at The Bounty this weekend.

Paul Dennis kick starts the night. A seasoned musician with over 30 years experience writing and performing his own songs in a variety of disciplines.

In this set, he'll switch between piano and guitar to deliver a collection of original tunes in their unplugged form. Ranging from the boisterous ska rant of My Boyfriend to the ethereal, jazz-influenced Stolen Girl, his lyrics are poignant and perceptive and on occasion, outrageously funny.

With 14 years as a standup comic and a brace of Edinburgh shows under his belt, you can expect some colourful chat in between songs too. As a founding member of Charlie's Mushrooms the Welsh singer-songwriter has a definite leaning towards the funky and these songs reflect that deeply ingrained lust for energy.

He couples that with a versatile vocal style and whether singing about the dilemma of voting in a society where class imbalance is all too evident or the one night stand seen as a kind of cathartic therapy, the gravity of the subject matter is underpinned with irresistibly foot-tapping grooves.

Also on the bill are Fairfolk, folk music played as a duo with Laura Cox on vocals and bodhran and Phil Howe on fingerstyle guitar and Irish bouzouki.

Stripped Chevy are whiskey fuelled, dirty south rock n blues.

Entry is free and the music will begin at around 8pm.
