MANCHESTER R&B singer Wayne Fontana, famed for such hits as Pamela Pamela and Hello Josephine, has been forced to pull out of the Solid Silver 60s Tour 2014 due to ill health.

All dates for the tour will still go ahead with the sensational talents of Brian Poole and The Tremeloes, the unforgettable talents of blues and soul singer Chris Farlowe and the USA’s Chris Montez, all backed by Vanity Fare.

Commonly referred to as a British institution, The Solid Silver 60s Show is the original 60s touring show. Performing to thousands of fans from March to May, the show has been packing them in year after year by showcasing the very best of that special decade, and this year will be no exception.
