AN INTERACTIVE family concert featuring Ed Vere’s popular character Mr Big is to take place at Reading’s Hexagon.
Mr Big is a lonely gorilla whose scary appearance puts off potential friends, until he finds his musical talent.
The performance by Britten Sinfonia features live illustrations on stage from Ed Vere, which are projected on to a large screen behind the orchestra.
It will include Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, music by Benjamin Britten and Piazolla, family favourites and sing-along songs inspired by Mr Big himself.
Presented by Hannah Conway, the concert takes place on Saturday, April 5 at 4pm at The Hexagon.
Tickets priced £9.70 for adults, £7.70 for children, are available from the box office on 0118 960 6060 or online at readingarts.com.
