TOMORROW night, Wednesday, March 12, in Sanctuary, Rockbitch presents A Tale of Two Cities, Aurora, Gone By Tomorrow, Sceptra and Until Thunder.

A Tale of Two Cities are a five piece rock band from south west England, combining melodic, atmospheric and catchy rhythms with meaningful vocal melodies.

ATOTC have gained a reputation for being a hugely exciting live band, which has swelled their support in their native southwest England. The band have supported more well known acts such as Deaf Havana, Attack Attack, Yashin & Sonic Boom Six.

The band's first music video for their single Juliet has been featured on Scuzz TV. The band followed up an extremely successful 2011 by recording their next 4 track EP with Kevin Peters at Anemic Studios.

Their next single Four Words has received regular airplay on Kerrang radio having been featured on Alex Baker's show. The video has also been played on Kerrang TV.

Since forming around early 2012, Aurora have managed to develop a unique sound that is beautiful as it is crushing. Sitting somewhere between Bring Me The Horizon and Paramore they also take influences from artists such as While She Sleeps, Of Mice & Men, Memphis May Fire, Bury Tomorrow, Periphery and Hands Like Houses.

Aurora's members previously plied their trade in various other local Birmingham bands, never quite feeling they were achieving the sound they were striving for. Until, as in many cases, a chance meeting of like minds happened and thus the band was formed.

December 2012 saw the release of EP 'Easily Broken' via renowned label In At The Deep End Records. With their debut album planned for the middle of 2014, Aurora will also be playing numerous gigs in the UK and Europe over the next 12 months, so watch this space closely.

Support from:

Gone By Tomorrow - Heavy. Fun. Good dudes. First time in town. Should be a fun one.

Sceptra - Used to be the Faint and The Fallen ... New name - heavier sound. Slightly unhinged frontman - first time at Sanc.

Until Thunder - Hardcore, loud, fun, played for us before. Awesome!
