Half-term workshop for Basingstoke's budding filmmakers

BUDDING young filmmakers can discover and experience the world of filmmaking courtesy of a local class.

Filmmaking for Kids provides filmmaking courses and workshops for young people aged between eight and 15.

Courses run between 9am and 4.30pm over two days during school holidays. At the end, pupils receive a course certificate, a Filmmaking for Kids T-shirt and a copy of their film on DVD.

Nick Willoughby from the company said: “There is so much hidden creative talent in young people out there and I am always amazed at the themes and ideas that the young filmmakers come up with.

“The highlight for me is when the young filmmakers see the result of their hard work over the two days when their film comes together during editing".

24 October - 25 October - 2 day course

November 12 - 1 day course

19 December - 20 December – 2 day course
