Basingstoke's Discovery Centre has crafty half-term plans

JOIN Basingstoke Discovery Centre during their week of wide variety of activities to help half-term pass more easily.

First up is free card making for kids aged eight-11 years on Tuesday, October 25 from 10am until 12 noon. Booking is essential and accompanying adults must stay in the centre.

Free class Knitting for Kids on Wednesday, October 26 from 2pm until 4pm is also for children aged eight-11 years. Again, booking is essential and accompanying adults must stay in the centre.

Younger children will love the Cookie Workshop with Muffin Break on Thursday, October 27 from 11am until 2pm. An adult must be in attendance at all times and everyone is invited to drop into this free class.

Make 3D haunted houses, spooky castles, cut out puppets of Bats, wizards, witches, skeletons, cats, pumpkins and vampires at the Halloween Craft Workshop on Saturday, October 29 from 10am until 12 noon.

This workshop costs £5 and is for children aged five to seven years-old. Parents must remain in attendance at all times.

During the Halloween Mask and Hat Making Workshop from 1.30pm until 3.30pm, children aged five to seven years-old will be able to make amazing masks and hats in the shape of witches, pumpkins, cats, monsters, vampires and other horrible things!

This workshop costs £5 and parents must remain in attendance at all times.
