Guy Fawkes scarecrows on show at The Vyne's Festival from October 15

THE Vyne’s springtime Scarecrow Festival attracted so many entries that they are running a very special autumn show too.
Local children’s organisations - schools, scouts, girl guides and others – have been invited to create their own version of a Guy Fawkes scarecrow.
The weird and wonderful results will be displayed around the gardens from October 15 to 27 (excluding October 21) for visitors to enjoy from 11am-5pm, free after normal admission charge.
The scarecrows will then be removed and put to good use by their creators on Bonfire Night itself.
