FAMILY entertainment will hit the big screen in the form of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief next week – and to mark its release, The Gazette is giving away three goody bags.

It is the 21st century and the unhappy gods of Mount Olympus – and assorted monsters – have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson’s Greek mythology books and into his life.

Zeus’ lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy is the prime suspect. While adapting to his newly-discovered status as a demi-god, Percy finds himself caught between the battling titans of Mt Olympus and sets off on an adventure to find the true thief of the lightning bolt.

Chris Columbus directs a star-studded cast, including Rosario Dawson, Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, Sean Bean, Catherine Keener and Steve Coogan.

The film is released on February 12 and The Gazette has goody bags to give away to three lucky readers who can answer the following question: Q: Who directs the film Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief?
