TWO familiar faces from children’s television made an early visit to Basingstoke last week.

Dani Harmer and Chris Pizzey were at the Anvil ahead of their appearance in this year’s pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Dani, best known for her role as Tracy Beaker, will be taking the title role while Chris, who played Basil Brush’s Mr Stephen, who was last at The Anvil three years ago in Jack and the Beanstalk, will be playing Muddles - and he will once again, be directing the UK Productions’ panto.

Dani, who was born in Berkshire, is one of the biggest stars of children’s television having played the lead role of Tracy Beaker since she was 12 years old.

She said: “I am pleased to be returning to The Anvil stage. I have been in Easter panto [before] and so am looking forward to being back here for the Christmas season – when I am sure it will be slightly colder.

“Also, I get to play Snow White for very first time, so I am extremely excited.”

Chris added: “I am really excited about being back this year. Three years ago, I had a fantastic time; and this year’s panto is going to be great. There will be lots of magic, lots of mayhem, lots fun and lots of comedy.”

Join the pair along with the Wicked Queen, handsome Prince, and seven mischievous dwarfs for a huge portion of festive fun. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will run from Thursday, 13 December, 2018 to Sunday, 6 January, 2019.
